Twitter reacts to Tottenham sacking interim manager Cristian Stellini
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the departure of interim manager Cristian Stellini after just four horrific games in charge.
The poorest of said Games came on Sunday, when Spurs conceded five goals in the opening 20 minutes in a resounding 6-1 mauling at the hands of Newcastle United.
As expected, this defeat prompted Daniel Levy and Tottenham into action, with the club making the decision to sack Stellini on Monday.
While the news was a shock, what was more shocking to Spurs fans was the fact that the club statement was titled 'club update from Daniel':
From Daniel? That’s kind

The sign-off at the end of the statement itself was also rather noteworthy for Tottenham fans:

The rest of the contents of the statement read: "Sunday’s performance against Newcastle was wholly unacceptable. It was devastating to see. We can look at many reasons why it happened and whilst myself, the Board, the coaches and players must all take collective responsibility, ultimately the responsibility is mine.
"Cristian will leave his current role along with his coaching staff. Cristian stepped in at a difficult point in our season and I want to thank him for the professional manner in which he and his coaching staff have conducted themselves during such a challenging time. We wish him and his staff well.
"Ryan Mason will take over Head Coach duties with immediate effect. Ryan knows the Club and the players well. We shall update further on his coaching staff in due course.
"I met with the Player Committee today - the squad is determined to pull together to ensure the strongest possible finish to the season. We are all clear we need to deliver performances which earn your amazing support."
Tottenham fans were rather happy with the decision to 'give it Mason til end of the season':

However, some others were quick to point out that Mason wasn't even the club's first choice interim head coach...

And others, well others made Simpsons memes about Tottenham's current plight - something which we at 90min are totally here for:
Cristian Stellini: “you’re letting me go?!?”

Daniel Levy: “Cristian, some fans love losing Games, we don’t know, we don’t wanna know. Frankly it’s a faNBAse we could do without”
“So that’s it, after 1 month, so long and good luck?”
“I don’t recall saying good luck” pic.twitter.com/IAqHREfj3c
