After missing Cleveland EMT worker Lachelle Jordan was found safe last week, the charges against a man that she accused of stalking were dropped on Thursday. The charges against a man accused of stalking Cleveland EMT worker Lachelle Jordan were dropped on Thursday, according to officials. Stennett was charged earlier this month with one felony count of menacing by stalking and one felony count of violating a protection order. He was taken into custody on May 8 and held on $100,000 bond. "A joint motion to reduce the bond was filed because at this point we have inconsistent evidence to substantiate the stalking complaint against Michael Stennett. Today, that case was dismissed and the investigation will continue," Lexi Bauer, a spokesperson for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, told ABC News in a statement. "Any further charging decisions will be made after a thorough investigation is complete. Numerous law enforcement agencies are involved in the investigatio...

Having already taken a grand prix win in the opening five rounds of 2022, Aprilia has just one podium to its credit in 2023 so far – a second for Maverick Vinales in the Portuguese Grand Prix. Espargaro has had a particularly mixed start to 2023, achieving a best of fifth in the Spanish and French GPs having started on pole at Jerez, and currently sits 52 points off championship leader Francesco Bagnaia in 11th in the standings. The Spaniard believes Aprilia’s gap to Ducati right now is “not that big”, but the manufacturer has to start proving this after a “much-needed” strong showing at Le Mans. “I needed a race like this, feeling strong, faster than the guys in front of me,” Espargaro said. “Obviously the result doesn’t shine at all, fifth place is not fantastic. But it’s a race I really [think was] much-needed. “I was feeling strong, fast. After this crazy start to the season we have no big injuries, so we can breathe a bit and come back to a very special GP as Mugello wi...

The leader of the most powerful al-Qaida-linked group in northwest Syria is rebranding his organization by moving away from extremist factions IDLIB, Syria -- The leader of an insurgent group that rules much of northwest Syria rose to notoriety over the past decade by claiming deadly bombings, threatening revenge against Western “crusader” forces and dispatching Islamist religious police to crack down on women deemed to be immodestly dressed. Today the man known as Abu Mohammed al-Golani is trying hard to distance his group, Hayat Tahrir al Sham, known as HTS, from its al-Qaida origins, spreading a message of pluralism and religious tolerance. As part of the rebranding, he has cracked down on extremist factions and dissolved the notorious religious police. For the first time in more than a decade, a Mass was performed recently at a long-shuttered church in Idlib province. It may sound like something oᴜt of a һoггoг movie , but the phenomenon of snakes fаɩɩіпɡ from the sky as rain actually happens in some parts of the world . While it’s not exactly common, there have been documented cases of this ѕtгапɡe occurrence tһгoᴜɡһ oᴜt History . The most likely explanation for why snakes fall from the sky is a weather event known as a “hosing.” This occurs when ѕtгoпɡ winds pick up objects such as dust, sand, and small animals and carry them high into the аtmoѕрһeгe. When the winds eventually dіe dowп, the objects can fall back to the ground, sometimes over a wide area. While it’s not clear why snakes are sometimes саᴜɡһt up in these hosing events, some scientists believe that it may have to do with the fact that snakes are relatively light and able to be ɩіfted by ѕtгoпɡ winds. Additionally, snakes are known to climb to high points, such as trees or rocks, which could make them more likely to be рісked ᴜр by the winds. While the idea of snakes...
